Former Fox News host Bill O’Reilly called out the decline of corporate media and outlets Thursday on a podcast, highlighting how a show like “The View” might have to be taken over by the network’s owner.
Over the years, a majority of the hosts of “The View” — Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, Sara Haines, Alyssa Farah Griffin, and Ana Navarro — have continuously defended Democrats, including President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris, during their campaigns. On the “Keeping It Real Podcast with Jillian Michaels,” O’Reilly stated that corporate media and outlets like the Los Angeles Times, CN,N and MSNBC are failing because of their focus on hate, claiming people are being “directed” to hate specific individuals and policies.
“Now, I think Fox, FNC, because I know everybody over there, has learned its lesson. A billion dollars might do that, but the others, I mean, they are peddling hate on MSNBC. I can’t figure it out because that’s Comcast. They’re killing their own brand. I know Lester Holt,” O’Reilly said. “He’s a solid guy. But he’s being tainted by Rachel Maddow.”
“I mean, and you can’t see that? Why are they permitting it? CNN went so far left, they’re trying to come back now. They even actually booked me for confronting the president. That shocked me and my people,” O’Reilly added. “But it’s easy to peddle hate. The haters get attention. They can get a small audience, and they can make money. That’s why it’s happening.”
