Look at the reaction to Pete Hegseth’s comments about women in combat roles.

President-elect Donald Trump wants Hegseth to be his secretary of defense. He served in the Army National Guard, deploying to Iraq and Afghanistan. He’s talked repeatedly about the problems he sees in today’s woke military.

“We should not have women in combat roles,” Hegseth said on a podcast in November. “It hasn’t made us more effective. Hasn’t made us more lethal. Has made fighting more complicated.”

That wasn’t a popular opinion with the propaganda press.

“Pete Hegseth’s remarks about women in combat are met with disgust and dissent,” NBC News said. […]

“It is an honor to announce that I will be traveling to Paris, France, on Saturday to attend the re-opening of the Magnificent and Historic Notre Dame Cathedral, which has been fully restored after a devastating fire five years ago,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

“President Emmanuel Macron has done a wonderful job ensuring that Notre Dame has been restored to its full level of glory, and even more so. It will be a very special day for all!”

Judge Strips Father’s Parental Rights, Greenlights Son’s Castration https://americanpoliticalreport.com/judge-strips-fathers-parental-rights-greenlights-sons-castration/ https://americanpoliticalreport.com/judge-strips-fathers-parental-rights-greenlights-sons-castration/#respond Tue, 26 Nov 2024 14:38:31 +0000 https://americanpoliticalreport.com/judge-strips-fathers-parental-rights-greenlights-sons-castration/ Younger, whose ex-wife, a pediatrician, began transitioning their son to a girl at just two and a half years old, has fought tooth and nail to protect his child. Despite video evidence supporting his concerns, courts in Texas and California have systematically stripped him of his parental rights.

The Gateway Pundit previously reported that a video of James Younger when he was only 3 years old surfaced, revealing that his mother put dresses on him and painted his fingernails when the child was just an infant!

The abuse from the mother all started because James liked a toy from the movie ‘Frozen’ meant for little girls. It is totally normal for little boys to play with girls’ toys; it does not mean they want to be castrated and ‘transition’ into girls.

When asked if he was a boy or a girl, James, then only three years old, answered, “Girl.” He said his mom told him he was a girl.

Jeffrey Younger was forced to pay his ex-wife $5,000 a month to pay for his son’s “transition” and counseling in addition to a $10,000 retainer required by the counselor. […]

Expert Says China Behind ‘Setting World on Fire’ https://americanpoliticalreport.com/expert-says-china-behind-setting-world-on-fire/ https://americanpoliticalreport.com/expert-says-china-behind-setting-world-on-fire/#respond Sat, 23 Nov 2024 12:19:17 +0000 https://americanpoliticalreport.com/expert-says-china-behind-setting-world-on-fire/ Experts are sounding the alarm on China’s increasingly aggressive trade deals in Latin America and South America as its ambition to become the world’s largest economy has put the U.S. in a position where it must choose between the safety of Americans, and continued trade with China.

During an interview with Fox News host Maria Bartiromo, American journalist, lawyer, political commentator, and writer Gordan Chang said China has used its influence to make deals with trading partners who used to be considered “America’s backyard.”

“A lot of Americans consider Latin America, South America, to be America’s backyard. Well, it’s really China’s backyard. You know, China is South America’s largest trading partner. If it weren’t for Mexican trade with the U.S., China would be Latin America’s biggest partner,” Chang said.

Chang noted trade between the U.S. and South America could be improved if the U.S. is willing to enter into more free trade agreements with the region, and further stated this would help the U.S. decouple from China.

“We can win back this region with trade. We only have one free trade agreement with Central America and three with South America. If we tie trade to the United States, what we can do is we can free ourselves from China. We can end the migrant crisis. We can shorten our supply chains and clean the air. So what’s not to like?” Chang asked. […]

Soldiers Eagerly Support Trump’s Vow to Create Independent Inspector Generals’ Offices https://americanpoliticalreport.com/soldiers-eagerly-support-trumps-vow-to-create-independent-inspector-generals-offices/ https://americanpoliticalreport.com/soldiers-eagerly-support-trumps-vow-to-create-independent-inspector-generals-offices/#respond Sun, 17 Nov 2024 13:59:55 +0000 https://americanpoliticalreport.com/soldiers-eagerly-support-trumps-vow-to-create-independent-inspector-generals-offices/ With renewed vigor and the 2024 election behind him, President-elect Donald Trump is set to take on the Deep State, and one of his proposals is strongly resonating with service members and veterans alike.

In a video shared on X on Nov. 8, Trump can be seen offering a 10-step “plan to dismantle the Deep State.” At the 1:46 mark, making his sixth point, he states: “We will make every inspector general’s office independent and physically separated from the departments they oversee, so they do not become the protectors of the Deep State.”

For many former and current members of the U.S. military, Trump’s point powerfully resonates and is a welcome departure from the past. Lt. Col. Ryan Sweazey (USAF-Ret.), a former F-16 fighter pilot and founder of a Walk the Talk Foundation (WTTF), spoke to WorldNetDaily about Trump’s new proposal. Having once served as inspector general in the Air Force and thus possessing a clear, first-hand understanding of exactly how government can fail in oversight, Sweazey has been advocating for an independent Office of the Inspector General outside of the Department of Defense for quite some time.

In November 2023, he launched a petition, calling upon others to support revamping the current Department of Defense Inspector General (DODIG) system that “consistently fails in its role to protect military members from reprisal and fails to impartially investigate complaint allegations which are brought forward at high risk by members of the DOD.” To date, over 2,800 have signed the petition.

In June 2024, Sweazey’s Walk the Talk Foundation offered a proposal to various members of Congress to form an independent Inspector General entity outside Defense Department influence. Pointing out the failures of the current DODIG system and those involved in it, the report was “referred to as the Lapdog Report,” a reference to the widespread view that the current inspector general system plays the role of lapdog to the military institution it’s supposedly investigating. Undocumented Military-Age Chinese Could Be First on Trump’s Deportation List https://americanpoliticalreport.com/undocumented-military-age-chinese-could-be-first-on-trumps-deportation-list/ https://americanpoliticalreport.com/undocumented-military-age-chinese-could-be-first-on-trumps-deportation-list/#respond Sun, 17 Nov 2024 04:00:25 +0000 https://americanpoliticalreport.com/undocumented-military-age-chinese-could-be-first-on-trumps-deportation-list/ As the threat to national security from China continues, undocumented Chinese migrants could be the first on President-elect Donald Trump’s deportation list once he takes office in January.

According to NBC News, a source close to the Trump campaign said the president wants to remove undocumented Chinese nationals who crossed the southern border illegally at the height of President Joe Biden’s border crisis.

The source cited the potential risk to national security, which is not unfounded as the FBI recently admitted China is using remote hackers to steal American intellectual property and other sensitive information through U.S. telecommunications companies.

Executive director of the Asian American Legal Defense and Education Fund Bethany Li told NBC News targeting “military age” undocumented Chinese migrants is another way to demonize China.

“We know that both the state and federal government have deemed China as a national security threat… We saw this in World War II with Japanese Americans incarcerated. We saw this post-9/11 with Muslim and South Asian men being detained and some deported.” […]

Now, having reached some $30 million in box office receipts, it is coming to the world of digital downloads.

Audiences on Rotten Tomatoes gave it a 98% score, obviously seeing something the “critics” who allowed it only 18% were unable to recognize.

It already has surpassed the presidential biopics for LBJ and Nixon.

Movie officials said, “Oliver Stone’s W. Moviegoers gave the film an ‘A’ CinemaScore” and they pointed out the gap between critics’ ideas and the audience was “the greatest gap between critics and fans in the history of Hollywood theatrical films.” […]

Hollywood Goes All in for Kamala https://americanpoliticalreport.com/hollywood-goes-all-in-for-kamala/ https://americanpoliticalreport.com/hollywood-goes-all-in-for-kamala/#respond Tue, 05 Nov 2024 16:55:58 +0000 https://americanpoliticalreport.com/hollywood-goes-all-in-for-kamala/ This campaign may mark the low point of Hollywood’s political influence. All the pop singers, movie stars and celebrities for Vice President Kamala Harris appear to have had no impact.

At times, it seemed as if the entire Screen Actors Guild were piling on former President Donald Trump.

Robert De Niro was reduced to sputtering rage. Bruce Springsteen called Mr. Trump “a moron,” while Rosie O’Donnell called the former president “the worst thing that ever happened to the United States.”

How did we survive four years of low unemployment, relatively secure borders, safe streets and a surge in energy production?

A-listers including Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, George Clooney and Leonardo DiCaprio are backing the Democratic ticket. […]

What the Pentagon Now Needs? A ‘Quantum Strategy’ https://americanpoliticalreport.com/what-the-pentagon-now-needs-a-quantum-strategy/ https://americanpoliticalreport.com/what-the-pentagon-now-needs-a-quantum-strategy/#respond Tue, 29 Oct 2024 05:39:47 +0000 https://americanpoliticalreport.com/what-the-pentagon-now-needs-a-quantum-strategy/ As our adversaries across the globe become increasingly emboldened, it has never been more critical that America maintain its technological edge by investing in quantum computing. Air Force Research Lab’s Information Directorate in Rome, New York, has long been the epicenter of the Air Force’s quantum information science research and development efforts. For years, the lab has worked diligently to conduct critical applied research across many quantum technologies and drive the Air Force’s ability to maintain superior information technological advantage against our adversaries. It is time the Department of Defense (DoD) did the same. As quantum advantage approaches, we must prepare for it by ensuring our quantum computers are industrially useful and able to solve critical operational problems for the DoD.

In pursuit of this goal, the DoD must execute three critical lines of effort. First, it must fully embrace, and Congress must fully fund, the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency’s (DARPA) Quantum Benchmarking Initiative (QBI) program. This program, in partnership with AFRL-Rome’s systems engineering and broad quantum expertise will benchmark industrial efforts to build a useful quantum computer. This novel effort has yet to be conducted anywhere else across government. DARPA’s innovative approach to running the QBI program is the most significant federal work done in quantum computing to date and must be fully supported within the DoD and by Congress.

Second, the DoD must craft and execute a strategic framework to guide its approach to follow DARPA’s effort. If quantum technologies are to become an integral component of our defense arsenal, the DoD must develop a deliberate approach to the development, prototyping, and scaling of quantum capabilities to solve operational problems. My language in this year’s House-passed National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), would accomplish this by requiring the DoD to develop such a strategy in pursuit of this goal. It will be critical for the Senate to support this language and ensure it is included in this year’s final NDAA.

Third, it is imperative the DoD holistically engage with the quantum industrial ecosystem, academia, and interagency. Formed between AFRL-Rome, Brookhaven National Lab, industry partners large and small, and a robust system of universities and community colleges, the Empire State Quantum Network being formed in Upstate New York is a model for DoD to engage partners of all types to fully embrace quantum technologies.

Through the incredible work being done by DARPA, AFRL-Rome, and the U.S. quantum innovation ecosystem, we are getting closer to reaching that goal. By developing a ready quantum workforce, software applications, algorithms, and other capabilities in addition to hardware, we will fast-track the building of an industrially useful fault-tolerant quantum computer and maintain technological advantage over our adversaries.
