This has pushed Mexico to step up enforcement along its borders, knowing that Trump will hold foreign governments accountable for enabling illegal migration.

Mexico’s Military Crackdown: Inspired by Trump’s Stand

Roughly 8,000 migrants, many from Central and South America, began their journey northward by crossing into Mexico from Guatemala.
