Boys saying they are girls, or transgender females, would be ineligible to compete in girls sports. They could compete with boys.

The Senate Special Committee on the Protection of Women’s Sports is also asking the General Assembly to consider legislation that would require separate changing rooms also based on biological sex.

The authority to regulate transgender participation in sports would be stripped from high school athletic associations. Lt. Gov. Burt Jones said previously that the General Assembly could have addressed the issue several years ago but gave the authority to the high school athletics association.

“This is an issue that should be decided by the people’s elected representatives,” the recommendations said.

Schools that fail or refuse to abide by the rules could lose their funding, according to the recommendations.

“I recognize that there are passions on both sides of this issue and a genuine desire on both sides to move forward in a way that respects everyone,” said committee Chairman Greg Dolezal, R-Cumming, on Friday. “I hope that we can recognize that we can do two things at one time. We can both treat people respectfully but we can also have an eye towards fairness in the legislative process. And that’s I hope to do as we move forward with this.”

The Georgia High School Association requires high school athletes to compete based on the sex on their birth certificate. The Board of Regents doesn’t have a policy on transgender athletes. The regents passed a resolution in October asking the NCAA to mirror rules set by the NAIA, which requires athletes to compete based on their sex at birth.

Georgia would become the 26th state to enact laws about transgender participation in women’s sports if the Legislature passes the committee’s recommendations. The Biden administration has tried to expand Title IX to include LGBTQ+ people. Twenty-six states have sued, and the rule is tied up in court.

Gender-Confused Child of Democrat Rep. Katherine Clark Arrested for Inciting a Violent Riot Against Pro-Life Marchers https://americanpoliticalreport.com/gender-confused-child-of-democrat-rep-katherine-clark-arrested-for-inciting-a-violent-riot-against-pro-life-marchers/ https://americanpoliticalreport.com/gender-confused-child-of-democrat-rep-katherine-clark-arrested-for-inciting-a-violent-riot-against-pro-life-marchers/#respond Sat, 07 Dec 2024 12:42:18 +0000 https://americanpoliticalreport.com/gender-confused-child-of-democrat-rep-katherine-clark-arrested-for-inciting-a-violent-riot-against-pro-life-marchers/ (Natural News)—The gender-confused child of one of the most powerful Democrats in America has been arrested for inciting a violent riot against a peaceful pro-life marchers in Boston.

National Men’s March, a peaceful event founded by Catholic show host Jim Havens and retired Catholic priest Stephen Imbarrato, rallied against abortion and promote personhood in Boston outside Planned Parenthood on Nov. 16. (Related: Pro-life group’s HQ in Rome attacked by LGBT activists TWICE in 10 days.)

However, over 350 counter-protestors clad in colorful costumes and wigs from a group known as “Clown March” met the pro-life demonstrators who were dressed in suits and holding rosaries.

House Minority Whip Katherine Clark (D-MA)’s child, who was born a woman but now identifies as “Jared” Dowell, was one of the hundreds of counter-protestors who incited a violent riot.

According to a Boston Police report, tensions flared as the two groups converged, with shouting, jeering and physical confrontations intensifying. The counter-protesters even blocked the path of the National Men’s March, which prompted officers to issue multiple orders to disperse.

“Superintendent Cahill ordered the large group several times to end their unlawful, riotous, tumultuous assembly,” the Boston Police Department’s report read. However, the report added that “the crowd refused all orders and continued their tumultuous behavior,” so officers moved to clear a path for the march.

“This unruly crowd collectively began pushing back at officers, elevating their disorderly and unlawful activity to assaultive,” the police report further reads. “This crowd created an extremely hazardous and offensive condition for officers and the individuals of the Men’s Rights Group who were attempting to pass by. After an exhaustive effort, officers were able to eventually gain enough control to allow the march to proceed through Kenmore Square and towards their destination.”

But despite all the attempts to de-escalate the situation without arrests, officers resorted to detaining individuals who “refused to peacefully disperse” and engaged in “assaultive behavior.

Dowell, along with 17 other counter-protestors, were arrested and arraigned on Dec. 2 on charges of interfering with lawful assembly and disorderly conduct.

Dowell previously involved in another violent protest

This is not the first time Dowell was involved in politically-motivated behavior that resulted in an arrest.

In January 2023, Dowell was arrested for assaulting a police officer. Dowell struck Boston Police Officer Daniel Roca in the face during an anti-police protest at the Parkman Bandstand on Boston Common. Dowell was arrested on the spot and charged with assault and battery on a police officer and vandalizing a monument.

At that time, the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office – which handles cases in Boston – dismissed the case after Dowell completed 30 hours of community service, reimbursed the city for cleaning the graffiti Dowell helped spray at the monument during the protest, wrote an apology letter to the police officer struck and went to mandated individual therapy.

Dowell had also completed a community-based program and stayed away from the Boston Common for a year.

Trump to Purge Transgenders From U.S. Military on Day One https://americanpoliticalreport.com/trump-to-purge-transgenders-from-u-s-military-on-day-one/ https://americanpoliticalreport.com/trump-to-purge-transgenders-from-u-s-military-on-day-one/#respond Mon, 25 Nov 2024 00:48:27 +0000 https://americanpoliticalreport.com/trump-to-purge-transgenders-from-u-s-military-on-day-one/ Is it really happening? Multiple sources are claiming that Donald Trump will purge the United States military of transgender troops. Estimates put it at around 15,000 currently members of the military that would be removed.

According to The Mirror:

Donald Trump is planning to kick all transgender members out of the US military, it has been claimed.

And the unprecedented executive order could be launched on his first day back in the White House on January 20. Experts suggest there are over 15,000 active service personnel who are transgender.

They would be given a special medical discharge, which would determine them unfit to serve in the US military, a source reportedly claims.

Trump, 78, is also expected to go one further and issue an outright ban on transgender people joining the military – at a time when many US Army branches are struggling to hit recruitment targets.

The incoming US president has slated what he claims are ‘woke’ military practices and suggested that some top brasses are often more concerned about diversity, equality and inclusion than fighting.

Reactions from conservatives on social media were cheerful:

Recruitment has been way down and it’s widely believed that the “wokeness” of our military is to blame. This action by President Trump would go a long way to correcting the current unnatural nature of our fighting forces.

As I noted on Twitter, Gender Dysphoria is a mental illness and as such those suffering from it should be barred from military service. The military already disqualifies those with psychotic disorders such as schizophrenia. Until wokeness took over science, Gender Dysphoria was considered a form of schizophrenia.

Despite the multiple reports, this seems like a stretch to be enacted so quickly. But even if it doesn’t happen on Day One, it seems likely that Pete Hegseth, who President Trump nominated as Defense Secretary, will work through the Pentagon to make this happen.

Congresswoman Nancy Mace to File Resolution Banning New Trans Congressman From Women’s Restrooms https://americanpoliticalreport.com/congresswoman-nancy-mace-to-file-resolution-banning-new-trans-congressman-from-womens-restrooms/ https://americanpoliticalreport.com/congresswoman-nancy-mace-to-file-resolution-banning-new-trans-congressman-from-womens-restrooms/#respond Tue, 19 Nov 2024 03:55:27 +0000 https://americanpoliticalreport.com/congresswoman-nancy-mace-to-file-resolution-banning-new-trans-congressman-from-womens-restrooms/ Despite all of the amazing victories the GOP had on Election Day in the ongoing battle against wokeness, there was one conspicuous loss. Delaware elected “Sarah” McBride (born “Tim”) as the first trans member of Congress.

Congresswoman Nancy Mace is calling on her GOP colleagues to pass a resolution banning men from using women’s restrooms in the U.S. Capitol. She intends to file the resolution for inclusion in the House rules package.

“The sanctity of protecting women and standing up against the Left’s systematic erasure of biological women starts here in the nation’s Capitol,” she said.

According to Fox News:

The South Carolina Republican plans to introduce a measure “prohibiting Members, officers, and employees of the House from using single-sex facilities other than those corresponding to their biological sex, and for other purposes,” according to text previewed by Fox News Digital.

It comes just before the first openly transgender lawmaker, Rep.-elect Sarah McBride, D-Del., is set to join Congress in January.

House Republicans have previously changed rules on their side of Congress, such as when ex-Speaker Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., scuttled metal detectors outside the House chamber after winning the gavel from previous Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif.

Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene expressed support for the sentiment Monday:

This is, of course making national news. McBride has been in the spotlight since 2012 when he first came out as trans while serving as the American University Student Body President.

As an interesting side note, recent stories and his Wikipedia page do not mention his birth name. We had to go back to the 12-year-old article to even know what his original name was.

UN Expert Who Called For Ban on Men in Women’s Sports Gets Smeared for Using Accurate Language in Report https://americanpoliticalreport.com/un-expert-who-called-for-ban-on-men-in-womens-sports-gets-smeared-for-using-accurate-language-in-report/ https://americanpoliticalreport.com/un-expert-who-called-for-ban-on-men-in-womens-sports-gets-smeared-for-using-accurate-language-in-report/#respond Sun, 27 Oct 2024 15:14:13 +0000 https://americanpoliticalreport.com/un-expert-who-called-for-ban-on-men-in-womens-sports-gets-smeared-for-using-accurate-language-in-report/ (Natural News)—An expert at the globalist United Nations who called for barring men from women’s sports has been smeared for allegedly using “demeaning language” in her report.

The report by UN Special Rapporteur on Violence Against Women Reem Alsalem urged countries and sporting organizations to prohibit “men who identify as women” to compete in sports events for biological females. She wrote that allowing these transgender women in such competitions leads to biological women and girls experiencing “extreme psychological distress” due to physical imbalance with rivals, loss of fair competition and educational and economic opportunities, and violations of privacy.

Alsalem also noted the damage caused by allowing gender-confused males to compete with females have caused in the field of women’s sports in recent years. More than 600 female athletes have lost around 890 medals in more than 400 competitions, in 29 different sports, as a result.

“Giving men so-called hormone blockers so they can compete with women, as some sports leagues do, doesn’t work,” she remarked. Such medications do not reduce men’s natural advantage, and strong hormone drugs can even harm an athlete’s health, noted LifeSiteNews.

The rapporteur also cited the risk of injury to female athletes. This risk increases when biologically female competitors face off against biological males. According to Alsalem, physical harm suffered by female athletes as a result of males competing against them can be characterized as violence. (Related: Men pretending to be “women” can no longer box against real females, says World Boxing Council.)

“Alsalem’s approach challenges the assumption of Western and UN-backed gender policies, which are based on gender as a social construct unrelated to biological sex,” LifeSiteNews pointed out. But instead of praise, the rapporteur and her document received condemnation from representatives of UN member nations.

Dylan Lang, a member of the U.S. mission to the United Nations, rebuked the rapporteur and the document she presented. The diplomat, who was wearing a heart-shaped pin with the colors of the Progress Pride flag during the presentation, accused Alsalem of using “degrading language,” “bullying” and spreading “gender misinformation.” Lang was not alone in his condemnation, as delegates from the United Kingdom, Canada, the Netherlands, France, Mexico, Colombia and other nations also joined in.

Alsalem finds an ally in Polish conservative think tank

“Sex must be understood in its ordinary meaning to mean biological sex,” Alsalem said, citing a declaration from the 1995 UN World Conference on Women held in the Chinese capital Beijing. She continued that the idea of “sex based on biology” has been established in the international human rights catalog, as opposed to the concept of “gender.” According to the rapporteur, the two should not be confused.”

“Human rights language and principles must continue to be consistent with science and facts, including biological ones. Multiple studies have given evidence that athletes born male have a performance advantage in sports throughout their lives, although this is most apparent after puberty.”

Despite the condemnation she received, Alsalem appears to have found an ally in the Ordo Iuris Center for International Law (OI). Julia Ksiazek, an analyst for the Warsaw-based OI, put in her two cents on the rapporteur’s findings.

“Alsalem identified a major problem that became fully apparent at the Paris Olympics this year – when it became evident that women were no longer competing against women, but also men who ‘identify’ as women,” Ksiazek said.

“The UN expert rightly noted in her report that athletes’ mental identification does not in any way affect their biological predisposition, which they have by being men. This type of situation is the result of lobbying in international law for the concept of ‘sex with social context’ – gender.”

Democrats Insist That Transgender “Medicine” Is Essential to Military Recruitment https://americanpoliticalreport.com/democrats-insist-that-tranny-medicine-is-essential-to-military-recruitment/ https://americanpoliticalreport.com/democrats-insist-that-tranny-medicine-is-essential-to-military-recruitment/#respond Thu, 10 Oct 2024 14:05:41 +0000 https://americanpoliticalreport.com/democrats-insist-that-tranny-medicine-is-essential-to-military-recruitment/ (The Daily Signal)—Several Democrats running in tight races for the U.S. House and Senate joined a larger group of Democrats in signing a letter urging Congress not to defund a measure providing experimental transgender medical interventions that’s included in a bill to fund the U.S. military.

The vast majority of the Democrats in the House (162 of 212) signed the letter, led by Reps. Sara Jacobs, D-Calif.; Pramila Jayapal, D-Wash.; and Mark Pocan, D-Wis. The letter urges the House of Representatives not to include “provisions that actively target LGBTQ+ service members and LGBTQ+ dependents and threaten the recruitment, retention, and readiness of our Armed Forces” in the National Defense Authorization Act, the bill to fund the military.

The NDAA allocates money to the Department of Defense and it is considered one of the must-pass bills in Congress each year. Two of the letter’s signatories, Reps. Colin Allred, D-Texas, and Ruben Gallego, D-Ariz., are running for U.S. Senate in their respective states.

The letter flags provisions House Republicans added to the NDAA that would restrict what the Democrats call “medically necessary care for transgender service members or their family members.” In addition to defunding transgender medical interventions, the provisions would prevent military leaders from approving ideological flags like the LGBTQ “Pride” flag. They would also remove pornographic books and books pushing gender ideology from Department of Defense K-12 school libraries, which the Democrats call a “transgender book ban.” They would also ban any of the NDAA funds from going to “a drag show, drag queen story hour, or similar event.”

The 162 Democrats who signed the letter claim that these provisions would exacerbate the U.S. military’s recruitment and retention crisis and that people who identify as transgender are more likely to serve in the military than those who do not so identify.

“As our nation faces recruitment and retention challenges, attacking transgender people—who are more likely to serve in the U.S. military than cisgender people—is a grave mistake,” the Democrats wrote. “If service members are concerned for their health care, their right to exist, or the well-being of their children and loved ones, they cannot focus on their jobs, thereby weakening military readiness and retention rates.”

“The U.S. government should not prohibit our service members from accessing medically necessary care, especially care that is safe, effective, and supported by every major medical association in the U.S., representing more than 1.3 million doctors,” the letter adds. “The care transgender service members receive is essential for them to be their authentic selves and focus on their mission. Denying this access to health care would deter transgender people from joining the Armed Forces, damage retention efforts, and hurt our military readiness.”

Are these claims true?

‘Gender-Affirming Care’

Many states have passed laws banning experimental “transgender” medical interventions for minors, such as so-called puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and surgeries that remove healthy breasts or sex organs. There is no conclusive evidence that these interventions, euphemistically referred to as “gender-affirming care,” make life better for people struggling with gender dysphoria (the persistent and emotionally painful condition of identifying with the gender opposite one’s sex).

Internal documents from the World Professional Association for Transgender Health, or WPATH, a pro-transgender activist group, revealed that the organization’s leaders knew about various side effects of “gender-affirming care,” including cancer in teens and reduced sexual function, as well as the lack of informed consent for procedures with lifelong impacts. These medical professionals endorse the experimental treatments anyway.

Some doctors have gone on record opposing such treatments. Back in 2023 in Florida, many doctors testified in favor of a rule that would prevent Medicaid dollars from funding “gender-affirming care.” The doctors—including psychiatrists, endocrinologists, neurologists, and a former WPATH leader—testified that these interventions are experimental and may do more harm than good.

“The claim that ‘gender affirming’ drugs and surgery are safe, effective, and medically necessary is a triple lie,” Jay Richards, director of the Richard and Helen DeVos Center for Life, Religion, and Family at The Heritage Foundation, told The Daily Signal.

“The complications—some that persist for a lifetime—from these experimental procedures are notorious,” he said. “And while some individuals may report relief from symptoms of gender dysphoria in the short term, there’s no evidence that, on balance, medicalizing a therapy for a mental disorder is beneficial. And by definition, these procedures are not medically necessary—since they attempt to treat a psychological disorder with drugs and surgery that does not directly address the psychological disorder.”

“At best, sex trait motivation drugs and surgery are experimental interventions of doubtful benefit and obvious harms,” Richards added. “Subjecting service members to these experiments makes no sense either for the individuals involved or for military readiness.”

Polls have consistently found that more Americans oppose “gender-affirming care” for minors, even when framed in terms most likely to get a favorable response.

An RMG Research poll in March found that only 22% of respondents supported giving minors access to “gender-affirming care,” while 64% said they opposed it.

A 2022 Pew Research Center survey asked respondents whether they would “make it illegal for health care professionals to help someone <18 [under 18] with medical care for gender transition.” Even with this arguably deceptive framing, nearly half of respondents (46%) said they would support such a ban.

Similarly, more Americans (44%) told Pew they would oppose requiring “health insurance companies to cover medical care for gender transitions” than would support it (27%).

From these responses, it seems likely that taxpayer funding for experimental transgender interventions would prove rather controversial.

As for the idea that transgender people are “more likely to serve in the U.S. military than cisgender people,” the claim appears to trace back to an analysis of the 2015 U.S. Transgender Survey. That survey, conducted by the National Center for Transgender Equality, found that “respondents served in the military at nearly twice the rate as the people in the U.S. population overall.” Since the proportion of the general population who identify as transgender is minuscule, this does not mean that a large proportion of veterans or service members is transgender or that the military would be handicapped without transgender recruits.

Two Senate Candidates

Two of the 162 House Democrats who signed the letter are running for U.S. Senate.

Allred is challenging Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, in the Lone Star State, which former President Donald Trump carried in 2016 and 2020. Cruz leads Allred by 5 points in the RealClearPolitics polling average.

“Day after day, Colin Allred shows Texas who he really is,” a spokesman for the Cruz campaign told The Daily Signal in a statement on the letter. “He is a radical who will destroy Texas and America. His record on transgender issues puts our children and families at risk.”

Gallego is running against Republican Kari Lake in Arizona, which is considered a key swing state. Gallego leads Lake by 7 points in the RealClearPolitics average.

“The fact that Ruben Gallego would try to hold up the National Defense Authorization Act to DEMAND that taxpayer money goes to sexual reassignment surgeries is a testament to how radical he truly is,” a spokesperson for Lake’s campaign told The Daily Signal in a statement Tuesday. “Gallego’s radicalism does tremendous harm to our military preparedness and puts our national security at risk.”

18 Swing-District Democrats

Eighteen House Democrats in races the Cook Political Report rates as “competitive” also signed the letter.

Reps. Yadira Caraveo, D-Colo., and Emilia Sykes, D-Ohio, are running in races Cook rates as “toss-ups.”

Eight Democrats in races Cook rates as “lean Democrat” also signed the letter: Reps. Jahana Hayes, D-Ct.; Eric Sorensen, D-Ill.; Frank Mrvan, D-Ind.; Angie Craig, D-Minn.; Susie Lee, D-Nev.; Pat Ryan, D-N.Y.; Andrea Salinas, D-Ore.; and Chris Deluzio, D-Pa.

Eight more Democrats in “likely Democrat” races also signed the letter: Reps. Mike Levin, D-Calif.; Darren Soto, D-Fla.; Sharice Davids, D-Kan.; Hillary Scholten, D-Mich.; Chris Pappas, D-N.H.; Dina Titus, D-Nev.; Steven Horsford, D-Nev.; and Greg Landsman, D-Ohio.

None of these Democrats responded to The Daily Signal’s request for comment by press time.
