In the wake of the President’s pardon of his son Hunter, Donald Trump has given perhaps his clearest sign that he will pardon the protesters who have been imprison for their role in the events of 6 January.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump wrote, “Does the Pardon given by Joe to Hunter include the J-6 Hostages, who have now been imprisoned for years? Such an abuse and miscarriage of Justice!”
Not long before Trump’s post, Fox News commentator Charlie Hurt said the Hunter Biden pardon was a precedent for pardoning all of the 6 January protesters.
“I think he should at least commute the sentences of all of them and pardoned every single one that was obviously just following the person in front of them wandering through the capital,” Hurt said.
“Pardon every single one of them. There were some that did more than just that. And I think he should commute their sentences and let them all out! Every single one of them.” […]
